Hey guys,
Freshmen year is finally over! Because of this I hope to write more on this blognet thingy. A lot of my co-contributors are writing reviews of movies and video games… and so to bring deeper, more meaningful post to this blog, I offer a short story that showcases an observation that I have made in the past twenty years of life:
“In a second, he had lost the sense that he relied on the most, his ability to see. Blindfolded, alone, cold, and wet, his hands and ears were the only guides. A rope made of a prickly, nylon-polyester flaunted its lumps, twists, and cuts, and paved the way through the thickened woods. Although the exact destination was not known, it was assured that happiness laid at the end of the journey. All he had to do was raise his hand and ask for help. But, determination, pride, almost arrogance, glued his hand to his side, clutching the nylon rope that led him in circles…”
Just something to think about. Have a great day!
Cheers, –Mike Le
