Shoe Review: ADIDAS Boston

by PHIL0S0RAPT0R

bostonThe newest shoe I have tried out is the ADIDAS AdiZero Boston. It’s a lightweight, neutral shoe that can essentially double as a racing flat. Due to my fetish for lightweight shoes, I couldn’t wait until I saved up enough to try this out. ($76.49 at the National Running Center)

Even though I need a little stability for my pronation, I didn’t think it would hurt to try a neutral shoe. So I ran with it twice so far– about 6 miles on one occasion and 8 on another. It held up rather well, although it was so light and neutral that it couldn’t shake the feel of a racing flat. Both runs were mainly on roads and there was a few miles of dirt/gravel on the second run, but nothing too intense for these little puppies. I am anticipating trying them out as a flat in my next road race.

OVERALL
I give the Bostons 1/5 Chezwicks
