So here it is. It’s October 14th and Bob Dylan’s new album, Christmas In The Heart, is out as of yesterday.  I don’t even know if I feel like writing about it.  It was too painful to listen to.  His voice has not changed since his last album release so that’s not the problem.  It’s just that it’s a GOD DAMN CHRISTMAS ALBUM.

I hate Christmas carols.  I hate them especially when they are being played two months before Christmas.  And I hate them even more when they are sung by a guy that stands for poetry and vocal protest.  COME ON DYLAN!

The money from the sales of this album is going for a good cause- World Hunger Organizations.  But (Bob Dylan I’m addressing this to you and I hope that you read it) just give them the money and don’t embarrass yourself.  Burn all of the copies of this album.

And to you Dylan fans, or those that are just interested, “Don’t buy this album. It sucks”.

The only plus to this album is making fun of it.  Dylan’s voice does kick ass at this point in the game so that’s a plus too, but I wish he wasn’t singing Christmas songs.  Just come on!  If he made the carols harsher or kicked out the corny backup singers that make it all cheery, I might want to give it a chance, but I’m just totally against this crap as it is!
