Sorry for the annoying idiot that introduces and closes this video, but it’s the only embeddable video I could find. This a new game coming out called LEGO Universe. It’s an MMO that looks like it has some amazing potential. If I ever saw a game that could be sold just on its trailer, it’s this game. This trailer is pretty epic, especially with those LEGO block flinging abilities. Very cool stuff.

The creators, NetDevil, don’t have that great of credentials, but maybe they can pull this one off and make a cool LEGO MMO. Obviously, it will have plenty of customization options. I’d love to be able to build my own LEGO vehicles and just race all over the MMO world. It sounds promising and can have be loads of fun if it’s done right, just keep your fingers crossed. We’ll have to see when the game gets released later in 2010.
